The COERR Language Skills Center is a dynamic English training Center for adults, young adults, and children of 6-11 years old. Its philosophy, goals, and specific objectives reflect this dynamism. This dynamic approach to the teaching and learning of English is built into a 32 level courses of study from beginner to advanced level 12 with optional short advanced courses. We initially started with a six level course and have expanded to the current levels since 2014.
The course of study is based on a spirally-prepared curriculum wherein the four basic language skills—reading, writing, speaking, and listening—are explored and developed throughout each level. Basic science and math are introduced in the curriculum to help the students gain the basic concepts, and build the vocabulary of science and math. In addition, the TOEFL iBT skills are developed from beginning levels, which helps the students to gradually prepare for the real TOEFL iBT tests.
The policies established by the COERR Language Skills Center assure that all students are given just and equal opportunity to study in the Center regardless of nationality, religious belief, sex, or political affiliation.
